Video: Here’s Another Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Head-To-Head Gameplay Comparison

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD is finally coming to the Wii U next month and most publications have already gotten their hands on it. The informative folks at GameXplain have produced yet another comparison video comparing the HD remake to the original Wii and GameCube version. While not a whole lot has changed visually just playing it in HD will be good enough for most. You can check out the new gameplay additions in the post, right here, but for now check out the comparison video!

    1. 🎭Mr. Boss Ass Bitch💊

I agree. The Yellow effect is the twilight effect. This is what made twilight princess um twilight fucking princess.

    1. I don’t know if it’s due to my nostalgia googles, but I find the bloom lighting very suitable for TP…

Or are you simply being ironic with regard to the lazy remake…?

        1. Ah, I see. Yeah, the GCN/Wii hardware limitations had to be overcomed with such effect. But, overall, I think Nintendo could have done a better job with this remaster…

            1. ~*Let the shackles be released!*~ Chains of Lucifer X3 ~*Or fall forever!*~

~*As I said before on the other article, no excuse for giving us a lazy remake.*~

    2. Already reserved this game for my brother.
Even though TP is my least favorite 3D Zelda, I’ll probably play it again just because it looks better, and they fixed a few issues I had with the original. (Finding Poes was a b*tch in the original)

Also, the gamepad was so convenient for Wind Waker.
I look forward to using it again on this game.

        1. Yeah. The original version of TP has some very ugly textures. They fixed a lot of that here.

But hey, if you think it looks better that’s fine. I’m not gonna try to sway you lol.

  1. This game looks miles better than the original. Especially ground textures. Before they were just green and brown blurry blobby textures, and now you can see grass textures, and little pebbles in the sand, and the rockyness of the ground. My only complaint is that they didn’t updated links hair that much, it looks kinda ugly. Also you guys should see the differences in the stonework of this game. I would attach some pics but I don’t know how. Does someone know?

  2. I really do want to be more impressed with this than I actually am. I honestly don’t remember liking Twilight Princess that much when I played it on the GC, but I don’t remember hating it either. Still, I can’t really get invested in HD-ing a game that didn’t neeeeeeed it. Super Mario 64 neeeeeeeds it. You want my $70 Big N? Super Mario 64 HD. With the flying mechanics fixed. And Luigi. And a better bonus for collecting all the stars.
