Outside The Realm Is Coming To The Wii U eShop And It Looks Awful

Where’s quality control when you need it? Another gem from TreeFall Studios is making its way to the Wii U this Thursday, and it looks just as bad–if not worse than the rest. Outside The Realm is a puzzling “game” that tasks players with getting an astronaut back to his ship using a simple mix of touch-based and traditional controls. By tapping the GamePad, the astronaut moves forward. Pressing up or down on the D-pad will move him in that direction. You can see the utterly innovative title in the trailer below. If you’re interested at all, or happen to have change left over from a real eShop purchase, you can pick up the game within it’s launch window for $0.49. Otherwise, its $1.99.

    1. i do agree that the eshop has a lot of shovelware games but i dont agree that 100% of the eshop is trash. it does however need some work and be more streamlined like the psn or steam store.

    2. If you think the eshop is bad, you’ve never seen steam. There are way more useless indie titles on there. This is what happens when you let anyone create games for your platform.

  1. This is rare for the author to talk shit about a game and yet again another shit ass game on the eshop hopefully Nintendo doesn’t have as much shitware on the nx but I doubt that

  2. This looks like a clone of the guy’s previous game Journey of a Special Average Balloon, but this looks worse than that. It is literally the same concept.

This guy’s games range from barely passable (Maze) to downright terrible (The Letter). I will genuinely be surprised if he somehow churns out something worse than The Letter.

~*has no words & just stares at the trailer dumbfounded* Okay! Who put this game into the Wii U eShop instead of the Wii Shop Channel where it should have gone?*~
