Unofficial chart data source VGChartz has listed the top ten best-selling video games on the Nintendo 3DS during 2015. There’s some interesting entries on the chart including the quirky Tomodachi Life and Yo-Kai Watch spin-off Yo-Kai Watch Busters Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad. However it’s the game at number one that’s bound to have everyone talking. Without further ado here’s the best-selling Nintendo 3DS games of last year!
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer – 2.63 Million
- Monster Hunter X – 2.54 Million
- Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire – 2.38 Million
- The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D – 2.18 Million
- Yo-Kai Watch Busters Red Cat Team / White Dog Squad – 2.14 Million
- Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS – 1.58 Million
- Monster Hunter 4G – 1.33 Million
- Mario Kart 7 – 1.22 Million
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf – 1.12 Million
- Tomodachi Life – 1.00 Million
Well then….
That was unexpected.
I don’t see Triforce Heroes in the top ten. I’m stunned. Not!
Wow…spent so much last year annoyed that the Wii U was in a drought I didn’t notice that the 3DS was apparently knee deep in crap games. Did nothing good actually come out last year? I know a bunch of those titles are years old at this point. Just…wow…
With new Pokémon and Yokai Watch 3 coming up you can expect those to sell millions at least. Not sure what else could be considered “big”. But there were actually many good games last year, they just didn’t sell millions because Japanese people especially are becoming lazy and only wanna play with their phones. A good chunk also probably got a Vita and a PS4. Yes even the Vita did better than the 3DS for a couple of months last year in Japan.
I pick super smash bros 3ds best game on the go
