Mario & Sonic Rio 2016 3DS Pre-Load Now Available For North America

The Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games pre-load is now available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop.

This means you can purchase the downloadable version of the title and download a large amount of the data ahead of the release date, this saves time when the game is live.

The title is released in North America on March 18, and in early April for Europe. The pre-load will presumably be available for Europe nearer to its release date.

  1. So Nintendo is motivated releasing this every year but for some idiotic stupid reason not Super Strikers. Now why when dicussing a Mario Sports tittle with the board of directors before Mario Tennis and Olympics were started in R&D, why didnt they think of Mario Super Strikers? That was stupid.

    1. You might want to point the finger to Next Level Games on that one. The same people who was trying to work on that Federation Force garbage since the DSi was a thing. I do hope they get around to making a new Strikers after they get that game out of the way this year.
