      1. Quadraxis… You wanted Metriod and yet this is what your beloved empire gives you.

        This amuses me..

If I was you I would be asking for the corpse of Iwata as an offering of atonement for this sins. This piece of shit was in development while Iwata was alive, and in death he still must pay for his sins…

      1. And unless this is just on an easier difficulty level, there’s no friendly-fire either. That will bother me further if there is no FF in FF, not that I’ll be getting it anyway.

    1. How can you tell what is a “True” Metroid game if you’re not vene a fan of the franchise, at least have you played the games? if so, which ones? and, in your opinion, what is a “True” Metroid game?

Because people used to say that Metroid Prime wasn’t a “True” Metroid game because it was on Ist Person rather than 2D like Super Metroid.

  1. fuck your complaints

the crosshair aiming system is CLUNKY AS FUCK who the fuck wants center of the screen robot chunky aiming in video games in 2016

    playstation fanboy aim system

give me touch screen mouse aim of gyroscope or wii remote

second stick aiming needs to fucking DIE,all these true metrpid complaints and the art direct etc etc

WHO THE FUCK CARES the aiming viewing mechanics are OLD AS SHIT sick of thos in moden gaming

  2. The gameplay and mission flow are painfully slow, still is everything a Metroid game is not, and EVERYTHING is still ugly and unappealing graphics-and-art-style-wise.

I almost never wish for a game company like Nintendo to release a product that will bomb, but this… this thing has to.

  3. To repeat my comment that I left on the video:
“Welp, I watched the entire thing with an open mind, and it still looks terrible. One of the things that made me cringe the most were the guys just running around and firing randomly at each other. Gave me a bad CoD vibe, something that should be FAR from Metroid. It was rather slow, most of the time boring, and even the boss fight was lack luster. And no, I’m not being “childish” in saying this, but the Metroid fanbase deserves more than this for the 30th anniversary and after 6 years of nothing, we’re going to be pissed. Quit comparing it to Zelda, it’s not the same thing. The Zelda fanbase is at least getting a game for the wiiu soon, just got TP HD, AND a spin off. We get a spin off…that’s it. And a poorly made and looking one at that. I’m sorry, I love Nintendo, but I can’t get behind this. If you guys still think this about Samus not being playable or we’re just entitled, then you’re as childish and ignorant as you claim the fans are. Good day.”

    1. In regards to the comments on firing at each other and friendly fire I believe one of the party members gets a healing cannon, so that might be why they are firing at each other…

  4. Wow, and I’m here thinking this game looks like it will be a blast. It looks similar to the Metroid game in Nintendo Land, but expanded into a whole experience.

I know I’ll be picking Metroid Prime: Federation Force up and enjoying it the day it comes out.

  5. There are a lot of things that irke me about this game, but the biggest issue I have is that the original Metroid is much like the original TLOZ, in so many ways. The biggest being it’s a single player experience where you’re dumped in the middle of nowhere and you slowly have to upgrade, unlock areas and progress through the game. But this game, like Tri-force Heros, is a spinoff where Nintendo have tried to shoehorn in a MP experience, and we all know how Tri-force Heros turned out.

And then when this tanks hard, Nintendo will just come out and say “no ones interested in Metroid anymore”, thus denying its fans of a worthy Metroid title.

And it won’t look good on Level 5 who are a great developer.

  6. Not watching the video. My mind was made up the moment this spin-off used the chibi artstyle for a video game franchise based on Ridley Scott’s Alien! And I’m not even a hardcore graphics nut because if this chibi style was being used for Zelda, I’d be all for it! Coupled with the fact we aren’t even getting a true Metroid game after 6 years where the last game in the franchise was a letdown for so many.
