Legendary Bird Codes To Be Distributed In US Pokémon Newsletter

Codes for the legendary bird Pokémon, Articuno, Zapdos and Moltres, that had previously been distributed in Smyths Toys stores in the UK, will now also be distributed to US trainers via the Pokémon Newsletter.

All you need to do is sign up for the Pokémon Trainer Club here before April 22 to be eligible, and it’s also worth checking your account settings once registered to make sure you are signed up for the newsletter. The codes will be compatible with Pokémon X and Y, along with Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

Here’s the promo clip for the code distribution below:

  1. Oh lawdy lawdy.
Why can’t they just release them to everyone in form of free DLC. Or through spotpass -_- I know it’s such a small thing to complain about, but it feels like I have to jump through hoops to gets these damn legendaries.

Are you going to need my blood type next TPC? How about a kidney? Maybe my right arm? -_-

    1. I think that’s on purpose. Since they’re legendaries, they *want* to make you go through hoops to get it; they want you to earn the right to get it (just like if the Pokémon world were real and you were trying to get a legendary, you wouldn’t be able to get it very easily). By making them easily accessible to everyone, they wouldn’t be very valuable anyone.

At least, this is what I think their thought process is like.

Oh. And don’t worry about needing to get TPC your blood type, or arm, or kidney.

They’re probably going to want a sacrifice.

      … XD

    1. Having the same issue. Only thing I can think of is that it’s a Sunday and the newsletter won’t come out until tomorrow? Unless we have to subscribe to the newsletter within the site. (I couldn’t find anything about a newsletter on that site, so I hope just signing up will do it). If you find anything do me a favor and reply? Thanks.
