Star Fox Zero‘s April 22nd worldwide release is getting close, and Nintendo has begun the game’s television advertising campaign. Nintendo has uploaded the Star Fox Zero commercial that will air in North America. Those who watched Nintendo’s E3 2015 Direct will be reminded of the Star Fox crew puppets, because they make an appearance in the commercial.

I look at it more as a colorful toe tag on a corpse.
This reads as “we spent a lot of money on those actual Jim Henson Muppets of Star Fox characters for our E3 presentation. We should probably use them again.” But regardless, I love it.

Good commercial. But unfortunately the reception for the controls to the game hasn’t been so great. I’ve heard some people say the controls are so convoluted it makes the game almost unplayable. I hope this isn’t the case, but the more and more people who play this game the more they say the controls are really bad. Forced gyro controls, no pro controller support… I mean wtf Miyamoto. Some people just want to play the game with dual analog sticks, and without forced on gimmicks… Is that too much to ask?
