Japan: Brand New Pikachu Sleeping Bag Plush Toys Are Coming In May

Japan is continuing its Pokemon 20th anniversary celebrations with more merchandise. A set of brand new Pikachu Nebukuro sleeping bag plush toys have been announced. However, if you wish to buy them, that is not possible.

Starting from May 12th, the plush toys will be available to win as CRANEKING arcade-exclusive prizes in gaming centres around the country. They will be set to appear in the nation’s crane machines. In Japan, they are called UFO catchers. Each of the Pikachu are zipped up in a sleeping bag that is based on other Pokemon, such as Squirtle. Not all of them will be available on May 12th, however. A few more won’t show up until May 24th.
