    1. Yeah, in a way that is the only logical way to do them and do them right. They are essentially Japanese characters and the tone is more aligned to another Japanese born artform. It can still also have western success and the brand is not tarnished. This short proved that in part. Id love to see more shorts, in fact, anime shows might also serve these franchises better.

  1. 🎭Mr. Boss Ass Bitch💊

Hell it looks as if they put more fucking work in this anime short than the actual fucking Game. Pathetic.

  2. Mannn, that was awesome! Very well made and wow, star fox universe has so many potential. I wish they could do their game with more open world and RPG elements, upgrade the ships and maybe a base, but who am I to say something. I love the animal people, they are so cool. Some reminds me of undertale, don’t know why haha.

  3. That was actually pretty good. Not fantastic, but good enough to make me want more. Combined with the other promotional animations they have released iver the years, like the Kid Icarus ones, it makes me wonder why there are NOT Animated series about Nintendo games any more. Pokemon is it’s own thing, and random stuff like Inazuma Eleven got their own series … but …

Anyway, what bugs me even more that this is not actually even a miniseries is that the ORIGINAL SNES StarFox was not only just referenced, but almost SHOWCASED Heavily by Falco in the beginning, yet, Nintendo still refuses to make the game available on VC, or even suggest that it EVER will.

Come ON Nintendo. Let the generations that were born a decade after it was made experience the 16 bit FX chip game that started it all … my FAVORITE StarFox game.

(and maybe the lost sequel as well? ?? ???)

    1. There are some legal troubles with the FX chip games, if I recall correctly. Something about Argonaut Games going under and preventing the distribution of those games, or something. That’s why the SNES Yoshi’s Island hasn’t been re-released either.

      1. Any individual or holding company that holds valuable properties hostage and refuses to let anyone access it EVER is moronic. It is basic business sense that if you are earning nothing from it and have no intention of doing anything with it, but it is in demand and valuable, just sell it, or at least licence it out to those who want it. It’s called profit, and kind of the reason you posess those ownership rights in the first place. Also, locking it up like that just makes the human beings making those decisions at the company responsibe assholes.

… and if the legal rights are screwed up because someone got screwed over … businesses are still collections of human beings. Own up to past mistakes, say your “I’m Sorry”s, pay what is owed, and work it out. I’d love to find the one person (because only a single, stubborn individual could be that dumb) being too unreasinable to allow reasonable business to take place and punch them in the face.

  4. This is the first video game cartoon that actually feels like it’s truly inspired by the video game it’s based on. Seriously. All the other nintendo cartoons feel detached from their source and not as immerssive. Like the kirby, mario, Zelda cartoons feel like they have zero to do with the games but this doesn’t feel that way and that’s great. I wish cartoons for the other games felt like you were really in the game’s world and not just an alternative demensional with the same characters.

  5. Is this supposed to make me want the game? Sorry but no, it doesn’t. If anything, it makes me want an anime for Star Fox as soon as possible. It’s like using a CGI trailer to get you excited for a game when nothing in the trailer can actually be done in the game itself or ever even happens exactly in the game as it did in the trailer. *shrug* That aside, please tell me they’ll eventually reveal to us this was a pilot episode of a planned Star Fox anime! xD
