Batman: Arkham Trilogy port studio says Nintendo Switch has “a lot of life in it” with very “loyal audience”

While the Nintendo Switch 2 is naturally grabbing all the attention as of late, the team behind the Batman: Arkham Trilogy port for the Nintendo Switch has said that the best-selling system still has “a lot of life in it” and it shouldn’t be ignored by developers as it still has a very “loyal audience.” Untold Games brought the well received Batman: Arkham Trilogy, It Takes Two to the console and is presumably planning to bring more games to the platform.

“Switch has a remarkable ecosystem and a genuinely loyal audience, and that combination has a lot of life in it,” Untold Games co-founder and CEO Elisa Di Lorenzo said, “The platform has proven that hardware power isn’t the only thing players care about, and that’s a lesson worth taking seriously”.

“Any platform is challenging if it isn’t considered from the beginning of development,” the CEO said. “The earlier platform-specific constraints are factored into a game’s architecture, the smoother the path to a port. When you’re working with a game that was build for different hardware, you’re often solving problems that were baked in long before you arrive.”

    1. They are still making PS4 games yet people don’t say they should move on. I wonder if it’s because people are biased?🤔

      1. Or because I spent a lot of money to upgrade to switch 2 and have moved on and would like new games for said switch 2

      1. Cool, but switch 2 might be the last console I’ll ever get abd when they move on to switch 3 or whatever. ILL UNDERSTAND
