    1. Well duh, Fates’ localization is a cesspool of bad voice acting, gross alterations in characterization, frequent plot revisionism and numerous unnecessary gameplay alterations; you can’t blame people for bringing it up in this matter.

stop bitching i for one like the english voices if your so opposed to the dialect you speak stop speaking your actual language and learn japanese there problem solved (fucking weeaboos!)

        1. I like the English dubbing for most things & even I can say sometimes the voice acting is terrible for certain characters. Naruto English dubbing comes to mind. Exactly why I watch it in Japanese with English subs.

ok i’ll grant Naruto’s english voice is annoying but i think that’s how he’s meant to be although Hinata’s english voice is just the cutest but due to my ocd i cant watch and read

            1. My OCD works in reverse now because of watching Naruto subbed for so long. Whenever there are subtitles for anything, I can’t help but read the subs now even when I understand & can hear the characters perfectly. @.@

good for you but the fan subs are only 99% right only half the time which is pretty annoying as i got a japanese friend who has looked at the fansub community and thinks its bad his exact words are if they wat to translate it theshould do it correctly not do only half right and the rest what they please

          1. No, because they have people like Alison Rapp and Nich Maragos who have a long history of gloating about their SJW-policing working in their translation teams.
Try with a real argument next time, instead of those cheap ad hominems.

            1. :/ 2012 Benghazi attack & #BlackLivesMatters?

You are really not making your cause look any easier to reply upon?

              Meh?

      1. There’s a very big difference between changing words that don’t translate literally for the sake of preserving the general meaning of the script and changing entire portions of the script for the sake of inserting memes or politics.

        1. I did say I wasn’t defending NoA’s butchering, wasn’t I?

Besides, the complications don’t stop at words that don’t translate well. You may have whole morphological processes tied strongly to the culture of the original language. Maybe the syntax of that language allowed the original writer to put elements in front position to add emphasis, but your language doesn’t allow that. Vocabulary is always the least of the concerns, since it can be circumvented 90% of the time. It’s literally everything else (especially anything particular to the country of origin’s culture) that might be a problem.

    1. Damn it! Nintendo is keeping a close watch on this website! Now that you said that, they’ll be forking up the money to pay for English voice actors while removing the option for Japanese voice acting!

if it gets a english track then i’ll buy it, but if it doesn’t then it’s a no go for me im not catering to the weebs

    1. It’s too bad they are ruining the costumes with their lack of fashion sense.
Want to censor Tsubasa’s chest? Go right ahead, like I care, but at least hire someone who isn’t completely retarded when it comes to fashion; that undershirt ruins the line of the entire costume.

      1. :/ I’d rather they not go “Oh my god! Boobs!” & leave not just the cleavage alone but also use good fashion sense. It’s a T for Teen game. They can handle the boobies. It’s sad when a PG-13 (for people ages 13 & up) movie shows more than some T rated games.

      1. Yeah, because they totally can’t just leave the songs untouched and translate the spoken lines; I mean, it’s not like anime-translating companies haven’t been leaving openings, endings and inserts untouched while translating the rest.
I really don’t care for english voice acting, but the fact that the game has about 6 sung tracks is not a good excuse for excluding it.

  1. I don’t know. A certain 4Chan user did predict the localized name of the game AND the confirmation of no dub. I think this is Nintendo’s way of covering up the other facts like a certain DLC mission being removed (plus the girls wearing spats instead of panties).

  2. As long as there isn’t any dub or censoring I’m good. Atlus always inpresses me, so I have faith in this title.

so nintendo think that call of duty is ok with raging 6yos cursing as you shoot them or knife somebody in the back is ok but show some side boob is wrong ? What the fuck Nintendo we are not five stop being over protective ! It’s because your like this people are jumping ship and migrating the the xbots or sony (which in retrospect has some good games on) eg the Tales games
