Those looking to purchase the Nintendo 3DS version of Citizens of Earth can rest assured that Atlus is in the process of restoring it. The publisher has confirmed that it is working with Nintendo to get the game back up on the Nintendo eShop, following an incident that resulted in its removal from the online marketplace. Atlus has issued the following statement in regards to the matter:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances, we had to immediately remove Citizens of Earth from the Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS. Both ATLUS and Nintendo are working together to get Citizens of Earth back up on the eShop. We apologize for the inconvenience to anyone affected by this, and assure you that we’re working to restore the game as quickly as possible.”

Is this game good, anyone?
I have heard mixed things. As an EarthBound/Mother fan, I really don’t feel anything towards the game. I have heard plot and character development is really poor, but the game is very humorous.
I think it’s AWESOME, it was just super buggy when I played it on PS4. It has probably been patched by now, but who knows. The game is pretty hilarious though, I definitely recommend it.
Was this game intended to look similar to Earthbound?
Yes, it was intended. The entire game is a parody. It’s quite funny.
I just hope they fix the constant framerate hiccups on 3ds. Now is a good time to do it while they fix this other bug.
