More Mystery Mushroom costumes are coming to Super Mario Maker later this week, and they are none other than Hello Kitty and My Melody. A new Event Course will be available, which will allow you to unlock both. The Event Course will arrive in Japan on Friday, North America on Thursday night, and in the UK and Europe on early Friday morning. A video showing both costumes in action can be seen below.

It was still fucking hilarious to see rage about “weeb” characters like Yuu and Chitoge “ruining” their precious Mario Maker.
Eh. I didn’t buy it. Either way, wouldn’t really be bothered about who gets in. It’s not the same as Smash.
So then Master Chief and the Angry Beaver’s are coming next right? Maybe get Tony the Tiger and Winnie the Pooh in that Magikarp!

Considering the fact that Microsoft and Nintendo has this rather interesting relationship (especially now with Minecraft and the latest Mario-related update), that dream might not be too far off from reality.
As for Geno, isn’t that already in there? Or was that only just a Mii costume for Smash?

This could very well be Hello Kitty’s first appearance in a first-party Nintendo game since that Hello Kitty Balloon Kid game on the Famicom.
