I would have gotten this if I didn’t pay for Advance Wars already. But man it’s good to have that opportunity of playing StarTropics again.

Be sure to read the manual. Seriously. You might get stuck at some point otherwise.
I had the sequel on the Wii through Club Nintendo a year or two ago. I’ll make sure to convert that over to Wii U if it ever comes to the eShop.
We’re also getting Startropics 2 alongside this.
Now if only Nintendo would revive this franchise Kid Icarus: Uprising style as a 3D adventure (Tomb Raider/Uncharted) game for NX. It would possess the original quirk and block jumping where possible, of course.
I don’t know how much you can adapt StarTropics to current times without making it lose its identity.
Then again, Kid Icarus Uprising was very different from Kid Icarus, for obvious reasons.
