Nintendo has revealed the file-sizes for its two big upcoming games for the Nintendo Switch via the Nintendo eShop. First up is the remake of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door for the Nintendo Switch family of systems which will weigh in at 5GB and launches this month. The next is Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD which is 3.3GB and is scheduled for a June release. Neither game is particularly large when it comes to taking up storage space on your MicroSD Card.
Thanks to Edward B for the news tip!

This is already something that was known since March 10, also LM2HD is only Estimated as of now and they have changed it from 3.1GB to 3.3GB in early April and it will probably be changed again. not sure why everyone’s talking about it now
File sizes are always super super interesting. Nintendo has some real tech wizards for their compression haha :)
We got this information ages ago, almost 2 months ago to be more precise. So I hover over the “via” source, without clicking and see it’s Nintendo Life. 🤣🤣🤣 One of, if not then worst Nintendo sites around. They are absolute garbage, a clickbait site and so often are way late with news stories. I never visit them or give them traffic. This is a perfect example why.

This was from 17th March. Well done Nintendo Life. 🤣🤣🤣 Next they’ll be telling us that Nintendo have Switch 2 in development.
