        1. “Nintendo @ E3 starts at 9 a.m. PT on Tuesday, June 14.
Tune in starting at 9 a.m. PT to see the Pokémon™ Sun and Pokémon Moon games in action, followed by the world’s first in-depth look at the new Legend of Zelda™ game. The day will continue with livestreamed gameplay and behind-the-scenes info from the game experts of Nintendo Treehouse—live and unscripted from the show floor.”

It says on the official Nintendo E3 website that we’ll get the “world’s first in-depth look at the new Legend of Zelda™ game” and then “The day will continue with livestreamed gameplay and behind-the-scenes info from the game experts of Nintendo Treehouse—live and unscripted from the show floor.”

So I guess we’ll get some sort of presentation and then the live gameplay on the Treehouse.

  1. “Starting at 11 a.m. PT until 8:59 a.m. PT on June 21, Nintendo is offering discounts on some of its most popular games as a special treat for fans. ”

Can NA just get the sale that EU and Japan currently have please?

  2. I don’t know if I’ll even bother watching any E3 conferences this year (I usually don’t watch the Sony or MS conferences). I can just watch all the game reveals after the fact if I really want to, including Zelda U gameplay. It’ll just save me time from having to watch games that I don’t care about.

    1. You should give MS and Sony a try! I feel like they get a bad rap from Nintendo fans because there is a stigma that all they have to offer is generic FPS’s. MS will have Scalebound, ReCore, Crackdown 3, Sea of Thieves, Gears 4, and it was apparently leaked that there will be a Dead Rising 4 coming out! Dead Rising 3 might be my favorite current gen game, so a sequel would be very welcomed. I haven’t been paying enough attention to Sony’s plans, but I know they have The Last Guardian, and that new IP Horizon I think. That one looks really interesting; you’re basically in a prehistoric age hunting robot dinosaurs.

  3. Ohhhh, gooooooood… Just a whole day of the new Zelda and then day 2 is all games I don’t care about.

They need to drop a Mother 3 official release during E3 if they want me to care about this one.

    1. Yeah, but they added Zelda stuff to Miitomo. That’s worth it right there. Everyone loves Miitomo. Right Miyamoto? It’s so fun and innovative. It’s what all gamers care about. Miitomo. The future is now!

      1. New Pokemon, yes.

Color Splash (compared to everything), maybe.

        Info on LOZ game, sure

        Every else, meh.

So with Yooka-Laylee’s delay, what the hell is the big holiday 2016 game in place of it? Nothing! And there’s not enough hype in the world they can give to Color Splash, to compensate for YL’s delay. Yooka-Laylee and Zelda will be awesome final games for the Wii U, but this holiday season is ruined.

I’ll be in cryo-sleep to blow past the interim.

      2. I picked up UMH4 after a friend badgered me into it, but I played it for 10 hours and I just don’t like it. MH is not my thing. And I couldn’t get into Pokemon X or Y either; I have maybe 60 hours, got to Victory Road, and I feel no motivation to finish it.

  4. 30th anniversary for the Zelda franchise. And what exactly are we seeing for a celebration? Miitomo crap if people retweet? How desperate can you be Nintendo. Funny how Miiverse and Mario Maker ban posts asking for likes or yeahs or whatever, yet they are basically begging for retweets. Hypocritical and pathetic. The mighty have fallen, and it ain’t pretty folks.

      1. We know that already. But that’s just gameplay and stuff. Not really a celebration. But I have a slight feeling that you may be pulling my leg. Can’t tell.

        1. Probably the biggest Zelda game to date (and by probably i mean it IS the biggest one) is getting an entire day of info. One dungeon is said to be the size of the TP overworld (though that’s not confirmed.) You’d think that would be enough to celebrate. And considering the amount of floor space given to this one game, seems like a huge ting to me.

          1. That’s not a celebrating of the history. That’s just showing off a new game. The new game sounds like it will be massive, but showing it off isn’t a celebration of the 30 year history and previous game entries in the series. Not to mention they are doing all the floor space for Zelda because they literally have almost nothing else to show. They didn’t assign a whole day to Zelda because of the anniversary. They did it because aside from Paper Mario and Pokemon, they don’t have anything else to show off. All that being said, I really hope this new Zelda is absolutely amazing.

            1. You really can’t say WHY they did it. You’re just making it sound like it was because there’s nothing else to show off (false as the treehouse shows they have much more to show) and I think the biggest Zelda game is the perfect way to celebrate the 30th ann. They could have just done another remaster, but instead they’re putting as much into this as possible. (Wish they did this for Metroid, but I digress.)

              1. They already showed what they will have for the tree house, minus perhaps a few surprises. And it’s not much. They are showing a few games that have already been announced. I think Pokemon Sun and Moon and a Monster Hunter game. That’s about it. So, unless they have a bunch of games to surprise us with (highly doubtful), yes, my statement is true. This new Zelda is not a good celebration of the franchise. A new entry by itself is not a celebration of a franchise’s history. Not to mention this game was supposed to be out last year. You think they delayed the game just to make it their 30th anniversary celebration? Come on now. And I’m sure Metroid fans are furious they’re not getting any sort of anniversary celebration. At least as far as we know. Then again, Nintendo could do some big celebration stuff for both franchises at E3. I’m not sure on this, but I don’t even remember Nintendo acknowledging that it is the 30th for either franchise thus far.

  5. All I care about this E3 is Pokemon Sun and Moon. Everything else….NOPE. Not in the slightests. Well, unless we get some info on the next handheld or console from Nintendo.

  7. Yes nintendo fans really want to stay fucking engaged to this. Some zelda gameplay (which don’t get me wrong, will be good) and maybe new sun and moon stuff. Wow I need to stay on top of this, this isn’t even including the games that are already out in japan that treehouse can play and show us parts that are too problematic to stay in. The most thrilling thing they could announce is the date where they will announce what the NX actually is and show something. That could of been E3 where people have eyes on you anyway and you don’t have to try to hard so people know it exists, didn’t have to be ready for holiday 2016, but nah here is zelda: the inferior version you aren’t buying if you actually stick with us past the wii U.

  8. The order of Paimon

I’m still waiting for that Metroid announcement. Tilmen always has accurate info……..
    oh, wait…

    1. Same. Xenoblade Chronicles X fills in the void Zelda could have by already being an incredible and large open world game. I’ll be skipping e3 this year. E3 is such an event for me every year, it’s a shame.

    2. I hear you :/ In the back of my head, I was hoping Nintendo would have SOME new announcements in store. Looking at their final schedule though, I think I can officially say I’m more excited or the Sony Press Conference ._.

    1. Because anything to do with Miitomo is stupid, and celebrating the 30th anniversary of one of the greatest video game series of all time with stupid Miitomo tie-ins is stupid.

        1. Because that’s all they’re doing, pretty much, and a franchise like Zelda deserves a hell of a lot more than a Miitomo promotion. Plus, E3 is an event for the big fans and Miitomo is more of a casual type of game.

    2. First, people posting their opinion isn’t whining just because you don’t like it. That’s just childish logic. Second, no one asked for a whole day of the new Zelda gameplay. A little bit, yes. But a whole E3 day dedicated to it? No. We don’t want too much revealed to the point that there’s not many surprises by the time we get the game.

      1. That’s a damn lie, no one can get surprised these days because of everything usually getting leaked! And if people even bother to use the internet even for an tiny bit they see news channels throwing info out there and causing info to spread like wildfire making spoilers unavoidable.

        1. Everything getting leaked doesn’t mean Nintendo should do it themselves. And this site is fairly good at giving spoiler alerts. If you’re trying to avoid spoilers, it can be done.

          1. Not really because of spoiler titles and thumbnails. It happened WAAAAY too many times to count. Nintendo WON’T do it themselves and they never have unless they decided to reveal the whole ending which they never done. Also the game is never ever completely touched upon when given info so nothing’s gonna be spoiled to don’t get your panties in an bunch.

            1. I’m talking about this site specifically. This site as I said is usually good with spoilers. Not always, but usually. In this case, I’m not talking about story related spoilers. I’m telling gameplay spoilers. A whole day geared towards gameplay is sure to show a lot of things that would be more fun if the players figured them out on their own instead is seeing a few hours of footage on the gameplay. Obviously they won’t show the whole game, but they ate going to be showing a whole lot more than its usually shown for a game inn one presentation. And is the panties comment necessary? I’m trying to have a civil discussion. Obviously we disagree, but that doesn’t mean we need to devolve into insults.

                    1. I’m not. I don’t think anyone is worried they would reveal the whole game. That would be suicide for the game sales. But they still stand to reveal more than most people want to see. Some people may not even watch it out of fear that they see more than they want to see. With a five or ten minute presentation, you don’t have that. With a whole day dedicated to a game, you certainly run that risk. I’ve seen people post those exact sentiments on this site and others, and saying they would not watch for that very reason.

                      1. They don’t do that. Plus for all we know it’s an really big game, they can change plans, or it isn’t apart of the whole plan just for an surprise.

        2. It’s not childish at all. What’s childish is using the “it’s an opinion” get out of jail free card that is a cop-out to excuse whining. People can not be happy about it. but going “Aww, this sucks. E3 sucks. Nintendo doesn’t care. Waaah” is what is childish. And you poor thing. Getting a whole day of a huge game people have been dying to know about. That’s just terrible!…..Oh no wait. You’ll just gripe anyways. :/ Considering how huge the game is supposed to be, I don’t think you’ll have to worry about them revealing too much. If you’re still too scared that they will, don’t watch!

          1. You know what? Most people on this site can’t stand you. You are the white knight no one asked for. You are the one who whines anytime someone dares speak ill of poor wittle Nintendo. Get off the internet if you can’t handle opposing opinions. I tried to be civil, but you are a petulant child. Stay off this site if all you’re going to do is start arguments with people for voicing their displeasure with Nintendo. This isn’t the everyone hold hands and sing Nintendo’s praises website. This is a site for fans of all opinions to voice their concerns. And right now, a lot of fans are unhappy with Nintendo. Deal with it.

        3. *rolls eyes at Brandon’s response to yours about how people are whining while completely ignoring the fact he’s being pretty whiny himself because people dare to not be happy with Nintendo’s official E3 2016 plans* He was like this last E3 too & continued to be like that even after E3 was over with concerning Nintendo. Metroid Prime Federation Farce is the only thing I can honestly think of where he doesn’t defend Nintendo. But I’ll give it time. When that game releases, I half expect him to give it a try, like it more than he thought he would, then come back on here & call all of us whiners for daring to ever talk trash about it. If that happens, my first impression that he’s just a whiny Nintendo fanboy upset that we dare to be upset with Nintendo & having an opinion completely different to his own will be confirmed. Or maybe he’s not a Nintendo fanboy at all. Maybe he’s just a narcissist that hates any opinion that differs from his own. It would explain why he calls all negative opinions that he doesn’t share as whiny.

          1. I tried to be civil with him. But I’m done. He’s such a damn fanboy. So petty. I can handle people debating me. But him? Anyone who disagrees is automatically whining. Yeah. Ok kid. Go home. I tried like hell to not get into a shouting match, but he just couldn’t do the same. Part of me almost wants Nintendo to fail just so obnoxious fanboys like him won’t have it anymore. But most of me of course would prefer Nintendo to get back to their glory days.

              1. It’s not really a tantrum to give up trying to debate someone that 90% of the time defends Nintendo & telling others you give up talking to said someone. A tantrum would be for him to continue talking to you while continuing to insult you in the process.

              2. But he’s not doing that. He’s talking to me now. If he continues to talk to you after you’ve responded to his comments while insulting you, then that’s a different story.

              3. If you think him or any of us are whiny or throwing a tantrum because we’re unhappy with Nintendo’s bullshit, I guess you think the same about others that were upset with how they were treated like black people & women before they were given equal rights. Same with Jews during WWII. How about the Iraqis when they hung Saddam Hussein? You think they were throwing a tantrum when they hung his ass for all the bullshit he put them through for over 10 years? Or the people upset with how North Korea treats their people like dogshit? These are more extreme cases, true, but they are all about the same thing: injustice & looking down on the very people you should be trying to please instead of simply pleasing your own selfish wants & desires. It’s about principle. If that’s being whiny or throwing a tantrum, I’d rather be that then bend over & take it up the ass. I doubt this will get through to you but it’s worth a shot. If it does, cool. If it doesn’t, I’m done trying & will go back to just looking down on you like you seem to be doing with us.

        4. Anyway, have fun talking to him. I just tune him out for the most part or fire back with a joke like I did when he made a comment that was of him obviously being upset with my opinion about E3 2016.

          1. Yes, and the grappling hook makes traversing through the tall buildings and wide London streets easy! I feel like the game would suffer greatly without it, seeing as climbing really tall buildings from the very bottom felt a bit tedious at times. Not only that, but some of the control issues, for me at least, would occur when I’m trying to climb in a certain direction but the character chooses to go somewhere else.

      1. Kinda like the leaked Smash DLC last year that people acted like it would have made Nintendo’s presentation so much better. Cuz you know, E3 is all about games that have already released months before. And they’re doing it again with this rumor of Mario Kart DLC. Yeah, a two year old game getting new content is gonna be so amazing for E3. Laughable.

        1. Better than nothing but Zelda the entire time, one piece of info and nothing else. Ya’ll keep setting yourselves up for disappointment with constantly raising expectations high. Especially something like e3.

          1. E3 expectations have been high for years. No on is raising them. If anything, overall expectations May have gotten a little lower. But just because Nintendo has been getting worse and worse doesn’t mean the expectations necessarily get lowered to what we are getting this year. From what they have announced for E3, no one expected such a pittance. This presentation is gonna be sorely lacking.

            1. Sucks for you then for having such an ridiculously high expectation in the first place especially Nintendo when they’re experimenting and doing their best to make it through when did this whole bullshit start from anyways. Smash?

              1. Sucks for you for being satisfied with so little then. The hype for E3 has loomed large for years b and not just because of Smash. I can’t say for sure when it started, but it’s been a long time. Experimenting is one thing, but the Wii U has been out for like what now? 3 years? They should realize by now that the droughts are severely hurting them with their fanbase. This year is going to be a paltry level of content for Nintendo fans. It’s embarrassing.

                1. “Sucks for you for being satisfied with so little” I never said I was. And you don’t know everything that’s gonna be revealed at e3 so. They’re not gonna and shouldn’t cancel the Wii U. It deserves to at least live it’s days with good console games. They are not getting hurt. It’s only you guys getting greedy and demanding for the NX already when every console got to at least live 5 years or more. If you guys can’t wait. Not my problem. I’m surprised ya’ll haven’t got used to waiting in general.

                  1. I didn’t say anything about canceling the Wii U. I know we don’t know everything that will be revealed yet. But be honest. Do you really think they have a ton of major surpises in store for us? And I also never even mentioned the NX. In fact, while I see some of the reasoning for them releasing it next year, part of me didn’t want it so soon because the Wii U is still young and never got much of a fair chance. So I don’t know how you inferred all that about me wanting the NX right away.

                      1. Unfortunately, Nintendo has driven many people to already give up on them. The NX is their last chance for a lot of gamers. For some gamers, the Wii U was their last chance. We’re all hoping the NX is incredible. But we just have to wait and see what Nintendo has up their sleeve.

            1. Or it’s like Witcher 3 where if you chose a shaved face or full beard that the hair will grow out as time progresses in-game. Sadly, hair growth only effected facial hair so no letting your long hair grow out to your waist in that game. :/

        2. Wow. How about rewards for people that could give two shits about Miitomo!? How about a god damn playable demo of Zelda U on Wii U!? Nintendo E3 2016 is so underwhelming it’s comedic at this point. If you wanted some, if not most, people to laugh at you out of frustration, Nintendo, you’ve finally accomplished something this year that’s an all around success! *claps* I can’t believe I’m saying this about Nintendo as a whole since brucelee does it enough with new accounts but… Congratulations for being shit right now, Nintendo!

E3 better have a shitload of surprises they aren’t telling us about! Otherwise, fuck Nintendo til they show us something on NX because E3 2016 will be the swan song for Wii U long before it’s last big game actually releases on the console! It fits, though, since the Wii U as a whole has been the biggest dump Nintendo has ever taken on everyone: game droughts after game droughts, barely any big name 3rd party support (yes! 3rd parties aren’t solely to blame for the lack of those games since Nintendo created this climate by pushing 3rd parties away for years long before Wii U came along so it’s on Nintendo just as much, if not even more so), terrible marketing for every game that isn’t family friendly Splatoon, one of Nintendo’s biggest franchises, Smash, getting a weaker version on the 3DS which stole most of the sales of Smash 4 Wii U which could have possibly boosted Wii U console sales, etc. Nintendo’s Seal of Quality is at an all time low.

TL;DR for anyone that will have a problem with this comment of mine & probably stopped reading after I called Nintendo shit: The people happy with Nintendo’s mediocrity clearly either didn’t get into Nintendo til the Wii gen where mediocrity started to become a thing for Nintendo or they can’t seem to remove their nostalgia goggles that blind them to the truth that Nintendo has become a shallow husk of it’s former self. If you got a problem with what I said, you clearly belong to one of those two groups so don’t bother commenting to me because you’ll just be wasting your time. I won’t respond because I’m tired of arguing with Nintendo fanboys. Good day.

        3. Well, 500 folks who showed up at Nintendo World NYC bright & early are going to get their 15 minutes of time with that Zelda demo (and NO, they’re not going to show the ENTIRE game during the presentation, so kill that rumor dead now)!.

          I got my ticket today:

They had some slots left as of about three hours ago, but I’d say they’re gone thanks to the Kirby Robobot event at noon and the registration still being open.
