Nintendo Confirms Rhythm Heaven Megamix Is Exclusive To The 3DS eShop

If you’re hoping to purchase a physical copy of Rhythm Heaven Megamix, you may be out of luck. Nintendo has confirmed that the rhythm-based music game is exclusive to the Nintendo eShop in North America, where you can download it for $29.99 on Nintendo 3DS. Two new themes based on Rhythm Heaven Megamix and a free demo are also now available on the handheld.

  1. I kinda expected this, so I’m not disappointed. I’m glad it’s making its way to the west in the first place. Just waiting for that EU release.

        I might Import the German Version instead ID the Japanese
        But European 3ds boxes are pure ugly. So I think I will still Import the Japanese Version.
        But I live in Germany so I could easily “Import” the German Version
        I think I am still going to import the Japanese Version because of the absurd ugly PAL boxes.

        Stupid america. Why you no boxed? No I have to import

  2. Two reasons will keep me from buying the digital version. The cartridges have a tendency to outlive the systems, and I like to pass on games to people after I’m done with them. So easy to just say, “Hey, try this.” and toss them the box. sad…
