Elliot “Ally” Bastien Carroza-Oyarce, who is the current EVO champion of Super Smash Bros on the Wii U, has been signed up by Cloud9. Cloud9 is obviously very pleased with its acquisition and released the following statement.
“Picking up Elliot marks our first venture into a modern Smash title, with his recent top-placing performances at EGLX, GOML2016, EVO2016, and the Rio de Janeiro eGames, we’re confident he will continue to improve and leave a lasting mark on the competitive Smash 4 scene.”

One question though, wth is Cloud9?

I did get around to googling them more thoroughly yesterday, and yeah, that seems like it. They seem to be bigger with the LoL crowd though.
