SteamWorld is an indie favourite so it comes as no surprise that a new game in the series is coming courtesy of the team over at Image and Form. The news was announced on their final Engine Room episode of the year on YouTube. Platforms have yet to be revealed but it seems fairly likely that this one will make its debut on the upcoming Nintendo Switch platform. The new SteamWorld game will be showcased at PAX East in March.

I really hope we get a sequel to steamworld dig. Quite enjoyed beating it both on wiiu and 3ds, and would quite happily buy a sequel on day one, preorder or Kickstarter it
