As you may have already read, the Japanese My Nintendo Store opened to the public on the 23rd of the month and was promptly swamped with customers attempting to pre-order custom Nintendo Switch consoles. Fire Emblem Echoes: Shadows of Valentia LE was also available on the store but users were finding it hard to pre-order due to the traffic swamping the online store. The game will now be available on a first-come-first-serve basis and there will be a special pre-order timeframe during which everyone who orders will be guaranteed to get one. Nintendo Japan has apologised for the whole issue.

  2. Yeah, what they’re not saying is whether this is because of massive demand or crappy supply. That makes a big difference. I would HOPE that Nintendo would at least be able to properly supply the launch of its new console, but they’ve been so bad at supplying the NES classic and amiibo that I’m not confident in their abilities.

If they ARE supplying the Switch properly and the demand really is that high, then I expect their stock should start rising up again.

    • Lol, I really should have read the article first. This is a web problem, completely independent of supply. BUT! The statement still stands if they run into supply issues.

  3. Hey yo Nintendo of Japan. America would like a word with you about that word “Unlimit”. Im looking at that Switch Master Edition, as well as the Wii U’s LE of Hyrule Warriors and Mario Kart 8

  4. I wish BotW Master Edition was unlimited. The money they could make if they’d just make it unlimited! Even those that won’t buy a Switch any time soon would buy the sucker for the collective nature alone! Not to mention it’d royally screw over those mother fucking scalpers if they make it well known the thing is unlimited.
