Nintendo of America has just uploaded two brand new Nintendo Switch themed television adverts as it ramps up its marketing campaign ahead of the March 3rd release date. There’s a commercial for 1-2 Switch which showcases the party nature of the mini game compilation and another showing how families can get together and bond on the system.

Buying this with Zelda at launch. Seems like a fun party game to show off the Switch.
I feel people are hating this game way too much. Is it odd and shouldn’t be full priced? Yes. But it does have some unique charm to it and is actually FINISHED. It’s just meant to be played for fun. People are treating it like the plague.
I think 1 2 switch imo is not as bad as people want to make it seem. People do kaoreoke and 90% can’t sing but you do it because it’s fun. No one cares what you look like when you sing and neither do people who are singing.

atleast i’m realistic about the way nintendo has been doing things for the past 15 years. They used to rule the market with every third party game a person could wan’t those days are long gone though, and they rather focus on these pathetic people that never played a game in there life before the past 10 years. The real gamers that made nintendo great back in the days get a big fuck you in the face.

Fine that they want people to play there games but not at the cost of third party support. I played nintendo as a kid aswell during Nes and Snes but atleast those had all the third party anyone wanted. Every past fan I know isn’t happy with the lack of third party , and even some of there top first party franchises have been very lacking in the past 15 years. I can bitch all I want cause its my opinion, if you can’t handle that than stfu and stop responding, your not really coming with strong counter arguments anyway, and you often come with false/not well informed info anyway.
And guess what, they’re getting third party support! If you paid attention, you would know that. And which franchises have been lacking? Metroid and F-Zero, of course. But what others? When you say something as if it’s fact such as “look at all those fake happy people,” you are not stating an “opinion.” Learn what the word means. You’re being a little troll. I can easily name 10-15 more btw. I hate the fake happy people there aiming at cause the price people like me pay is the lack of the previous mentiont games. Final Fantasy got great because of Nintendo until they lost them to sony cause they couldn’t provide enough disc space cause they where stubborn when they needed to pay sony a small amount for discs.
Metroid not so much the prime series was great. F Zero, Star fox (updated gameplay like they are doing with the new zelda) , Donkey kong country (updated gameplay like they are doing with the new zelda), Yoshi (updated gameplay like they are doing with the new zelda), Kirby (updated gameplay like they are doing with the new zelda), Kid Icarus (updated gameplay like they are doing with the new zelda), A real console pokemon not the 3ds port they will send to the switch or all the other fake pokemon games, great shooters like perfect dark and goldeneye who where the front runners of console shooters, games like banjo kazooi I mean do you really want more?

All of those you have listed have been getting support and are in no way lacking (aside form Star Fox.) And I did not get “owned” (I can’t anyone serious that uses that term. We’ve yet to see what all is coming to the switch. We know pokemon is under way. So cool your jets. They can still get their own third party games and it be good support.

If they get the exact same support as sony and microsoft than your point is valid, and something tells me it won’t when I look at the launch lineup. Infact I pretty much know it won’t cause multiple studios already said there game won’t be released on the switch.
Being a fanboy has absolutely nothing to do with how often you game on a console. It has to do with if you just accept everything the company does and defend every decision they make, and calling really bad games good games just cause whatever company they are a fanboy of made them. These commercials are not doing the switch justice. It looks like the Wii. People are done with the Wii. Casuals are done with motion controls in games like these. They should have done Nintendo Land 2 or maybe even Switch Sports. The gameplay of 1-2 Switch is wasted on gamers, they dont want it. So this game 1-2 switch and it’s commercial are for nobody. If they had made Nintendo Land 2, that would have been so much better…

And yea I know they showed it for the super bowl, one of the most watched things in the US, but that was one time. My co-worker was watching wrestling and these commercials came on and everyone thought it looked stupid. It looks just like a wii commercial. They as usual lied when they said they wanted to get away from the wii stuff. All they did was take away the name. They still wanna try to get casuals and make games like this when they should have been working on something that would make the launch look far more appealing. We all know they’ve had plenty of time to do so with all the wii u droughts, so fanboys, don’t bother defending.
While I was happy to finally see an ad during WWE Raw, it does suck it focused on families. Since WWE is watched by both families & hardcore fans that want the Attitude Era back, we should have seen TWO ads: one for families & one for everyone else.
Right? Show off Zelda more come on lol. And my coworker watches Raw so I’ve been kinda watching that and smackdown at work lately and the paperviews. I just don’t like the new guys at all but I still have some fun with it. It will never be the same for me as the attitude era and before. I do like Baley though lol my coworker doesn’t and thinks she’s ugly, I was so happy when she won the title last week.

Indeed it is haha. Missed wrestlemania cause I took the weekend off due to winning a 4 day pass to a music festival a week ago today. Also due to that I haven’t even gotten to really play my switch or zelda yet. I’m talking like 10 minutes of gameplay literally lol. Had to work 2 straight doubles the last two days and woke up late today due to lack of sleep from the weekend. I’m at work not for another four and a half hours or so, and then I’m off till Saturday morning. Come midnight tonight or whenever I get home, it’s time to get down.
