The Zelda Community Are Putting Together An Interactive Breath Of The Wild Map

If you’ve already started playing The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, you’re probably aware of how large the map is and how much there is to explore.

Luckily, Hyrule Legends and Zelda Universe are working together with the Zelda community to put together an interactive map, detailing side quests and points of interest for players to refer to. This is a huge community project relying on the information from Zelda fans to expand the details on the map over time.

The owner of Zelda Universe has also noted that there will be a full 3D resolution map, and also something similar to Google Map’s Street View in the future.

You can find the map here. If you’ve got something to add to the map, you can contribute by following this link.

  1. This is really cool. I’ll avoid looking at it for now to prevent spoilers, but I can’t wait to visit it after I’ve logged 20 more hours or so.
    Very nice!

    1. I’ve logged about 40 hours so far, and I’ve probably uncovered 30% of the map. However, I’ve only explored less than half of that. This map is so freakin big. It’s safe to say that after 40 hours I’ve only explored 10-12% of the world map. I don’t mean revealed, I just mean actually explored. It’s ridiculous. You could play this game for 300 hours and never visit the same place twice.

    1. A short interruption on my part Artistic One, in the form of a question:
Do you see yourself returning, to play more of this game? Or have you played the game to the point of its completetion (regardless if that is by standard of your opinion, or counting quests in the game, that is)?

      1. I’ve completed the game with all memories and all four beasts so I feel like I’ve completed it full, with the exception of a few shrines and side quests. I’m going back to play it again as I’ve got the Master Sword and now I’ll be trying to find all the secrets and hidden items in the game.

    2. I don’t see how anyone besides reviewers and those who were forced to rush the game could ha e completed it already. I bought it day one and I’m not even halfway. Hell im not even 25% of the way. lol
