- The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ – The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is a dungeon-crawling shoot-’em-up that’s a different game each and every time you play it. I have Binding of Issac on preorder picking it up tomorrow. Now I am still torn between downloading either Little Inferno and World of Goo or World of Goo or Human Resources Machine. Any suggestions, I have played Little Inferno already on my WiiU love that game
World of Goo is a must have. I don’t know Little Inferno nor HRM but I’ve read more good things about HRM than about Inferno. I mean all 3 are said to be great but I always felt like World of Goo was still the kind of flagship game of them, so be sure to get that. I mean the soundtrack alone stuck in my head for about 10 years now.
And HRM is said to be a cool game to get you into coding. But I believe it would be a better fit for a mobile device than a console.

Mike, I was going to make an intensive look video on these, but have been delayed. Human resource machine is fun, but.. it’s not for everyone. Let me explain.
In human resource machine, you are basically being tricked into learning how to write basic code by building input-output instructions for a mail-sorting system. If you enjoy Tomorrow Corporation story-telling, it’s there, but the game mechanics are heavily based in logic and math.
I was a science major, and I love math, so it was tremendously fun for me, however an old friend tried playing and said it was horrible to try and make people use their brain so much in a video game. – I’m serious, if you are not a logic and math kinda person, it will torture you in a bad way. And it gets more and more difficult as you progress.
The other two are a blast. (literally in the case of Little Inferno) – World of Goo has a really fun story and although I have not played it without motion controls, I assume it would be fun on the switch as well. World of Goo also greatly uses creativity and some logic of the physical world, but it’s nowhere, nowhere as brain-intensive as Human resource machine.
I love all three and would play them through again in a heartbeat if I owned a switch!
I should add… IDK what they are charging for these on Switch, so that may need some consideration as well
I’m glad games are releasing for Switch at such a steady pace! I just wish not so many were already released for Wii U.
ugh. No More Heroes is the first Indie on Switch I think I’ll be buying. None of this week’s stuff looks vaguely interesting to me
