Video: Three High Profile GameCube Games Running Smoothly On Samsung Galaxy S8 Via Emulator

Emulators for smart phones have been around for quite some time but with high spec phones hitting the market more games are being made playable for the first time. Via the Dolphin Emulator, Youtuber GuruAidTechSupporter manages to play three GameCube games on his Samsung Galaxy S8. Super Mario Sunshine, Smash Bros. Melee and Zelda: Wind Waker are all shown and seem to run pretty smoothly.

You can check out the video below to see how they perform:

I know, right!? This is seriously fucking sad! Sad AND pathetic… :/

    1. I wonder if you could connect the Switch Pro Controller to the phone by Bluetooth and then put the phone in the dock. I really want to see if this will work now, though I don’t know if the Switch dock works with any non-Switch devices (and I don’t have a phone with USB-C).

  1. You can actually use a real GC controller on Android phones pretty easily. Just need a usb adapter so you can connect the Wii U GC adapter. I’ve done it with my LG G4 :)

  2. Dam and the most we have on switch are crappy neogeo fighting games lol those touchscreen controls are a no go tho wireless controller is a must

  3. I can already play PSP games on my Galaxy S7 Edge and can use a Moga Power controller to hold my phone in place.

But this is a tantalizing reason to upgrade.

Why would you go back to Wind Waker when you got Wind Waker HD, a VAST improvement over the original game on GCN!? *shrug*
