While they’ve confirmed that the NES Mini is ending production, Nintendo have yet to comment on the rumours surrounding a supposed SNES Mini. When asked about the console by a Wall Street Journal journalist, Nintendo refused to give any answer at all. Would you like to see an SNES Mini? Tell us below.
I: "Will there be SNES classic?"- Nintendo chief: "nothing to talk about it now."

Basically confirmed?
Interesting…
||It will have 50 games included according to my primary calculations…||
Good. You’re better at the maths than me, Commander. :p
As much as I’m sure that future speculation can be a good thing as well as a bad thing. But how about we actually wait and see instead of wanting more than we already have at the moment?
A little waiting never harmed anyone did it?
||Well speculations are just that, speculations, harmless arguments to see how close or not you were to the real deal…||
||I have no doubts it will be an even bigger success than the NES Mini however, assuming High Command actually creates it down the line…||
The second it’s available to pre-order I will drop everything and run
}{ It will be sold out in the time required for a person to sneeze… Unfortunately dropping everything and running may not be fast enough… }{
It’s never failed me before 😉
It’s pretty obvious there WILL be a Super NES Mini. If so, I don’t think that stores should even do preorders. They should just be first come, first serve at all stores (and only one per customer). So that the scalpers don’t stand a chance this time around. But alas, Nintendo will probably do everything the stupid, limited, impossible to get way again. And upset everyone.
With the NES Mini, the name sounds as if there was going to be more editions. Like, the first was Classic Edition. The next would be something else. I’m still in shock that I now have the NES Mini. And on the final shipment at that. I’m SO glad I got to Best Buy as early as I did.
I get that the mini Snes will be collectible and well sort after, and is actually a great way for gamers that havent picked up a ‘modern day’ console to recreate the experience of playing the snes. But I hope this doesn’t delay Nintendo adding games on to the Switch virtual console.
Shut up
I understand your frustration sonicgalaxy27 but there’s no need to be like that Modern consoles are fun but retro ones can be fun too.
I see.
I will get you some nice crayons sonicgalaxy27
Why
If they were smart, they’d use the same emulators for the Switch…
The NES classic is just a box running linux.
Less than 99$ would be an insult to a SNES. ^^
Make it more limited Nintendo by raising the price, make yourself more sly.
They should have the following games on it:
Super Mario World
Super Mario All-Stars
Super Tennis
The Addams Family
Aladdin
Top Gear
Top Gear 2
Top Gear 3000
Donkey Kong Country
Donkey Kong Country 2
Donkey Kong Country 3
Tiny Toon: Buster Busts Loose
The Legend of Zelda: A Link To The Past
Starwing
Bust A Move
Championship Pool
The Chessmaster
Hurricanes
Wayne’s World
Kirby’s Ghost Trap
The Lion King
The Lost Vikings
Micro Machines
Micro Machines 2
NBA Jam
SimCity
Street Racer
Super Mario Kart
Striker
Kick Off 3
No Super Metroid?
Sorry, list invalidated.
Wait a minute… what the hell is Kirby’s Ghost Trap!? There’s Kirby Superstar, sure, but Ghost Trap? Pretty sure that’s made up.
You might also know it as Kirby’s Avalanche. We Europeans called it Ghost Trap.
I didn’t know that. Why a name so different though, is what I wanna know.
Yes, yes, yes, yes and YES!!!!
I would love to see it. Make us happy Nintendo. :D
