Those of you who purchase games digitally, whether they be a big title from Nintendo or one of the super fun indie titles on the Nintendo Switch eShop, will be pleased to know that you can now save your credit card information. Before the server maintenance last night you had to enter your details everytime you made a purchase but now you can choose to let Nintendo save your information. However, there’s still no two factor authentication in place like there is on the Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Yay.
What do you mean with “two factor”? Doesn’t it ask you to set a pin code like on Wii U?
It’s an extra layer of security guarding your account :) https://www.securenvoy.com/two-factor-authentication/what-is-2fa.shtm
Those smartphone app things?
Those are kinda annoying, I set one for Steam.
They’re definitely annoying, but they can be a lifesaver (especially on PSN).
can you use paysafe cards on the switch eshop
All your cards are belong to us.
…two days after I purchased some games and had to enter my information each time.
Shocking this wasn’t on release considering the push for digital.
