Darksiders Warmastered Edition – Wii U VS PS4 Comparison Video

YouTuber TiLMENDOMiNATiON has uploaded a clip showing gameplay from Darksiders Warmastered on both the PS4 and the Wii U. The Warmastered Edition for the PS4 was released in December 2016, and has just arrived on the Wii U this month.

Tilmen explains that the PS4 version runs at 60 FPS with up to 4K supported, whereas the Wii U version runs at 25 FPS. You can check out the gameplay in a split screen side-by-side comparison below:

      1. There’s games that run at 60FPS on Wii u. Bayonetta 2 was one of the. This game is a PS3 port with no graphic designer upgrades. The PS4 was a upscale and upgrade of the game. Of course it’s going to be 60FPS on a 4K system. That’s why this video is so stupid

  1. Clearly the PS4 version is better from reading this Headline I was expecting the Wii U version to be a borderline unplayable mess but it really isn’t.

Nintendo Consoles are never that powerful anyway. Nintendo tend to focus on making fun games rather than graphically intense games.

  2. I’ll still give them my money, I have nothing else to spend it on the U.

Hell I bought the DLC for Fast Racing Neo without even getting close to beating the main game, due to having so much eShop credit.

      1. I own a few of those already, maybe I’ll add Steamworld as I had forgotten about it.
After I lost all my data for X due to my USB, I’ll just play Xenoblade on my 3DS.

      1. It just seem like a silly comparison to do. Its like comparing the regular ps4 with a high end PC. The gap is just too big and comparison is just unnecessary. Smh.

  3. It looks great on Wii U. The bummer is despite it being “Warmastered” it doesn’t have the cool second screen options #2 did. Oh well. I expected as much. Impressed THQ finished it at all. Just bummed it’s not as well designed as #2. Even the case says 60fps like they just slapped Wii U on top of the PS4/XB1 box. LoL! Still a fun game. Look forward to playing through now that I beat BOTW and waiting for DLC.

  4. Considering this is the Wii U vs the freaking PS4 pro, I’d say it hold up pretty dang well! Still aint gonna buy it on the Wii U since i sold mine for the Switch. Probably should of just ported it to the Switch and probably gotten 60fps, but whatever.

  5. considering how it performs on the wii u it holds up pretty good, not 60 fps good but still and i got a copy for the wii u, mine came in the mail on sunday which was a rarity but the time it took to ship was 2 days, i know it came out on the 23rd but it took them a while to process my order and by them i mean amazon as the walmart i work at did not have it, either way im happy with my purchase albeit the order too a bit to process but made up in delivery speed.

  6. Looks fine on the Wii U. Of course it would be possible to make the game run better, but it would be commercially insane to put that much work into a version that won’t sell. I also don’t understand why he’s mad, he says he already played it on PC, so what is there to be pissed off about?

  7. King Kalas X3 {Greatness Awaits. This use to be something that awaited those for all consoles. It's sad it's mostly just a PS4 slogan these days. Maybe Nintendo will get back to that greatness with the Switch. Only time will tell.} says:

Once I finish Until Dawn on my PS4, maybe I’ll return to Darksiders & play the first two games on PS4, too.
