Season Pass For Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Revealed

Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle on Nintendo Switch launches in only a handful of days and Nintendo and Ubisoft have lifted the lid on what you’ll get if you purchase the Season Pass. First up – at launch, players will be able to get their hands on eight steampunk weapons. Although we don’t yet know what these will look like, I think it’s safe to assume the new weapons will be a great addition. This fall will see new solo and multiplayer maps being added for season pass holders to enjoy.

That’s not all though; in 2018, Ubisoft promises to offer up some extra story content but again, we’re not aware of any more details regarding this.

So, new maps, weapons, and a story mode? Sounds pretty good to me! We’ll let you know when we hear of a price for the season pass and when some release windows are announced.

        1. Well, I wasn’t too serious, but we were a group of friends and the one guy who didn’t have the seasonpass or didn’t want to buy DLCs at all couldn’t play with us from nov dec the same year? Something like that.
You could be playing a lot of Destiny without DLCs, but that was just because the grinding was bull :P Not because the amount of content.

      1. There’s more than one game though. The last Star Wars Battlefront had Season Pass, but if you bought the game on sale, without the season pass, you almost couldn’t get to play online (in an online only game) because everyone else played on the new stages and stuff.
Evovle had two season passes and ruined the game completely.

And then you had the Season Pass to Fire Emblem Echoes. I bought it cause I support anything Fire Emblem with joy, but the amount of content you got for 369 kr (37-38 euro) wasn’t that great. Many of those DLCs were already finished in Japan before our release, and we still had to pay for day one content. It felt like the locked parts of the game away from us, but that’s just my opinion.
Don’t take me wrong, I love more content for the games I play. How Ubisoft are planning to execute this (read marked it to us consumers) is still up in the air. So we’ll just have to wait and see how it goes :)

  1. I can’t believe. In others forums people still get angry about season pass in 2017. If you don’t like it then don’t buy it or wait a discount like every single third party do most of the time. Very normal with the other consoles but we now think like children witouth money only nintendo.

    1. It’s a yet to release game, with a pay wall for content that should have been included on disc…
You can throw your money away nowadays but a lot of people don’t agree with this method. We used to get FULL games on release before.

    1. My opinion as well. Let’s rage or praise it AFTER we know what it is. It’s stupid to defend it at this stage, and attacking it isn’t any better. I would say I still prefer games to be complete when I get them so I can play it all in one go. Turn up the price if it’s so hard to earn money on 40-70€ games. People who thinks that’s to much can wait for the price cut and then everyone would be happy. I guess I’ll settle for GOTY/Complete Editions for now.
