Good news: Switch sells alot because restock.
Bad news: MHXX sell less than 100k
Horrible news: No port to the west and 0 support from capcom because Japana failed their Test.
Actually, they wanted to see if the game sold BETTER on Switch, and it did.
So don’t blame Japan, they just proved the Switch version is the most popular.
Tell that to Capcom. I remembered that their Test for this game was 300k-500k.
Since this is japan, I think it only has to reach 50 k to 100 k. Ultra Street Fighter was a global release; which only needed 300 k to 400 k.
The fact that the PS3 is selling more than the Xbox 1 is kinda funny and sad.
The PS3 is an excellent bluray player and has a lot of features that the PS4 doesn’t have. I have stored over 6200 songs on it so far and use it organize and backup my iPod and Walkman. Whenever I go shopping I notice that the stock cases for PlayStation are empty while the Xbox ones are full.
Another Good news: [NSW] One Piece: Unlimited World Red – Deluxe Edition sold more than PS4 version and is in the charting
I didn’t expect this.
I expected more sales of monster hunter honestly. Maybe everybody just chose to wait for the PS4 release instead
3D has always been popular in every country in the world (excluding America aka United States) and continues to grow in popularity, its even been permanently popular in America since 2015 and continues growing in popularity here. So its just the stereoscopic 3D makes it pointless to double dip for a monochromatic 2D version of the game, especially in a country that not the United States.
Good news.
About 6 months since the Switch launched, and Breath Of The Wild is STILL the only game I own on it. *sigh*
We just have to be patient. We’ll have Super Mario Odyssey soon enough. Of course, that will only be 2 games in about 8(?) months since Switch launched, so not too much to be happy about but oh well. Of course, I’ll have BotW, SMO, AND hopefully Xenoblade Chronicles 2 by the end of the year. Fire Emblem Warriors is on the fence, though, til I hear news of Lyndis being a DLC character. Til she’s on there, I’m not buying it.
Nintendo Switch has already conquered Japan. Hopefully this means that many developers will begin to develop for it en masse and we will play with a ‘masse’ of games. ^^
Monster XX performance is very good for a port. Everyone already had bought it for 3DS so it’s good nontheless. It can continue to sell also. It’s already halfway in comparison to ARMS.
