Super Mario Odyssey was among the Nintendo Switch games featured in today’s Nintendo Direct. New information about Mario’s upcoming adventure was revealed during the presentation, including more story details, locations and modes. Brand-new footage was also shown and gave us a look at how the game’s visual presentation significantly changed for the better; see for yourself by comparing the two screenshots below:
Don’t know if it was just me but I thought Xenoblade looked better too.
the swimming was a little iffy
way better indeed. When I saw the first trailer, I was turned off by the characters. Now the shading seems to have been changed and everything looks just a bit more concistent and nice.
Haha, I saw it on YouTube with a shitty Internet connection and thought it looked like a Gamecube game! Then I realised it was the connection and saw it again without as much compression. Yes, it looks great!
Huh. Didn’t even noticed it looked “bad” to begin with.
I noticed the difference Mainly because they fix the lighting, and added more textures
No one here said it looked bad. Only that it now looks even better.

And I thought the graphics were good BEFORE.
This looks incredible!
This game has me legit excited!
Hmm…..I like the improvement. Funny how you never know that something can be improved until you actually SEE it improved.
Odyssey will be beyond galactic, can’t wait!!!
Anyone notice the original had Peach’s Cappy removed?
So even Peach’s Tiara is it’s own character? Cool. If Luigi pops up, I wonder if he’ll get the same treatment.
