Some of you may, or may not be, aware that Ripened Tingle’s Balloon Trip of Love was originally released on the Nintendo DS in Japan back in 2009. The game was never localised, until now. Thanks to a fan-translation project it’s now playable in English. Here’s a description of the game thanks to Siliconera:
Ripened Tingle’s Balloon Trip of Love is an adventure game. Tingle is sucked into a book and finds himself working alongside a scarecrow, tin woman, and lion as he attempts to find his way through the story and develop a relationship with one of five girls in the game. While it is an adventure game with dating sim elements, there is also a dungeon minigame.
The team behind the fan translation are now hard at work on Tingle’s Balloon Fight DS so stay tuned for more information on that!

I’ve been wanting to play this ever since I first heard about it back in the day, because I loved Freshly Picked: Tingle’s Rosy Rupeeland. But just a fan translation means I still won’t be able to play it. Since I’m a physical or nothing gamer.
If you want to play it, why would you intentionally prevent yourself from playing it just because there’s no physical copy…?
