Good news for those of you who are looking to go completely digital with their Nintendo Switch as Integral Memory have announced that they are bringing out a 512GB size microSDXC card. Currently the biggest memory card is SanDisk’s 400GB memory card which launched last year. Here’s the details with pricing to be announced at a later date:
Integral’s 512GB memory card has a Class 10 speed and a maximum transfer speed of 90MB/s. It is compatible with UHS-I standard.
For only One BILLION DOLLARS! :P
Mr. Krabs: Well that’s a spirit breaker. *Tosses wallet and cries*

Hmm, this will probably cost more than the switch.
No. Only 70% or less. lol
Mmm sounds about right to me. I guess it’s even bigger then I hope. At least it doesn’t cost much.
It will but this means the other models will drop in pricing. 128GB will then be $40-50, 200GB at $70-80 and 256GB possibly around $100 or less.
Seriously?
That’s just the thing about SD cards. It’ll drop in price dramatically in short time or if you’re lucky, you’ll find a sale somewhere that suits you.
Yes!!! It’s just nice to be able to launch games from the start screen. Especially with games like Zelda, Skyrim, dark souls and eventually Pokemon. RPG on the go!
Meh you should be able to buy that 400gb for no more than £50 … This 512gb should be £75 max!
You say that based on what exactly? How you imagine it would be nice if the world would be that way?
Is it compatible with my wallet? Because I don’t think it can handle it.
It will be overpriced I’m sure of it,like 200$…..or more :(
There’s a difference between something being overpriced and something costing more than is practical. The newest technology is always expensive, and it’s rarely an issue of them just arbitrarily setting a high price point.
Fill it up just in time for it to get corrupted
Ever since my memory card 1019 on the Gamecube got corrupted for no reason and my files were deleted and unplayable, I haven’t trusted large capacity memory devices. I feel like, the larger the capacity, the more vulnerable they are to corruption.
I shudder to think of the price for that mini beast.
Especially when compared to the 80 bucks I paid for a 2tb external hard drive. D:
