  2. Pretty obvious when more people play consoles than 20 years ago…..

In the early 90’s you where pretty special if you had a Nintendo. Maby 4-5 people in my class actually had one out of 30 children.

      1. I remember watching my mother beat Zelda on the NES back when I “played” with an unplugged controller. My wife’s family (all girls) had every Nintendo and my mother-in-law has been obsessed with Zelda since Ocarina (she’s logged more hours on BotW than I have). She also loves Metroid Prime and cannot wait for the new one. The audience has definitely grown more women, but they were there.

A good number of girls in my class were bringing Pokemon Red/Blue to school too.

      2. In My class back at 97-99 I was the only girl that loved games hehe, even 2000 to 2007 I was the only one. Ocarina of Time was my favourite game back then..

      3. Well, considering there are a lot of (mostly male) shitheads out there who behave like complete asses towards female gamers, I wouldn’t even be surprised if they did. Passionate female gamers absolutely do exist, though. In the facility where I studied game programming, I think about a quarter of all students were actually female, so while that’s certainly way less female game developers than male ones, they’re not quite that rare, either. They exist and they’re not some mythical creatures that noone will ever see.

  3. I’m wondering why minish cap sold not as good as the other ones, it’s so good. And i’m glad the oracles games sold a lot :3 Remake please?

  4. Infinite Kalas X3, The Sonyendo King

Congrats to the top 3 best selling Zelda games: Twilight Princess, Breath of the Wild, & Ocarina of Time. It saddens me that Phantom Hourglass & Spirit Tracks have sold more than The Minish Cap. Much better game with much better gameplay. No annoying ass “use the touch screen to control EVERYTHING” bullshit.

    1. Not to mention the most difficult puzzle of phantom hourglass where you had to close the 3DS which was so frustrating. I thought I was never going to pass that puzzle. I was forced to use YouTube to find how to clear this puzzle which is unfair because how in the world would I assume that this was the way?

      1. Haha, I was going to say Phantom and Spirit Tracks were the only two I never finished, but I did enjoy the clever little puzzle where you had to close your system. Apparently others didn’t enjoy that one as much as I did. Wasn’t it a letter with a wax seal or something that you needed to press together?

  5. Considering this was a launch title for a breakneck success system that’s currently set to outsell the BEST SELLING SYSTEM OF ALL TIME I’d honestly be surprised if this game WASN’T selling well.
