The iconic Pac-Man and Ms Pac-Man will soon be joining Sonic in the mobile title Sonic Dash. This collaboration has come about to celebrate Sonic Dash’s five year anniversary. The special cross-over will happen from 20th February through to the 20th March. Read on for the full details:
“Sonic the Hedgehog’s longtime nemesis Dr. Eggman is at it again! Spurned by being left out of Sonic Dash’s fifth year anniversary party, the evil villain conspires with BASH the Ghost to exact revenge in Sonic Dash. Seeing their friend in distress, PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN enter the game to help. Simultaneously, Dr. Eggman has kidnapped Sonic’s animal friends and the world’s fastest hedgehog must enter PAC-MAN’s mazes in order to save them.
In Sonic Dash players can run as PAC-MAN or Ms. PAC-MAN. Competing in four alternating one-week special character events, players can collect Power Pelletsas they race to the finish line or face off against Bash the Ghost in an all-new boss battle. Players who collect enough of PAC-MAN’s classic fruits, bells and keys during the event are able to permanently earn those characters!
Just as PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN enter Sonic Dash to help their friend, Sonic speeds into the PAC-MAN mobile game world to save his kidnapped animal buddies. Players entering during the limited time event will play as Sonic as he dashes through a revamped maze styled as the classic Green Hill Zone collecting rings and boosting through Moto Bugs. The update also features six unique stages and free Sonic tournaments. Players who take part in the epic mash-up from the 20th February to the 20th March can unlock the Sonic Maze content in PAC-MAN forever. After this period elapses, the Maze will no longer be unlockable.
“We’re excited to host PAC-MAN and Ms. PAC-MAN in Sonic Dash in celebration of the game’s five year anniversary,” said Chris Southall, Head of Studio at SEGA HARDlight. “We know fans will be delighted with the result, a special event that brings two iconic video game universes together for the very first time on mobile in a speed-packed experience.”

PAC-MAN and Sonic Dash are available as free downloads for Android devices on Google Play and the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad. Crossover content will be included as part of a free, limited-time update to PAC-MAN starting today until Tuesday, 20th March.”

For starters, no more stupid ass scripts with bad jokes and inconsistencies with the Canon. Second, functional blast processing gameplay like usual with no more Wisps gimmick. Third, fire Roger from voicing Sonic, he’s too try hard and cringy at his delivery. He’s better off voicing Christ Redfield. Lastly, let someone else with competence, care and know how to make a Sonic game like Christian Whitehead.
