Each week Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu polls its readership to ask them what game they are looking forward to the most on Nintendo platforms. Recently it’s been a battle between Persona Q on the Nintendo 3DS and Dragon Quest XI on the Nintendo Switch. Interest from the readers has died down a little for Dragon Quest XI on Switch and this week it’s Project Octopath Travler and Persona Q battling it out.
- Persona Q2 (3DS) – 237
- Project OCTOPATH TRAVELER (Switch) – 234
- Bayonetta 3 (Switch) – 194
- Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete (Switch) – 189
- Shin Megami Tensei V (Switch) – 174
- Fire Emblem (Switch) – 136
- Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Switch) – 134
- Hoshi no Kirby: Star Allies (Switch) – 131
- Zelda Musou Hyrule Allstars DX (Switch) – below 100
- Dragon Quest Builders: Alefgard o Fukkatsu Seyo (Switch) – below 100
- Meitantei Pikachu: Shin Combi Tanjou (3DS) – below 100

Project Octopath began to be interesting to japanese people. Though it’s a pretty barebone list, few games down the road. Kirby does not look so healthy (after Dragon Quest Builders? Meh).
Because..tentacles. lol
Bayonetta 3 is third highest on the list..?
I sense something great drawing closer.
