Japan: Here’s This Week’s Most Wanted Nintendo Games

Each week Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu polls its readership to ask them what game they are looking forward to the most on Nintendo platforms. Recently it’s been a battle between Persona Q on the Nintendo 3DS and Dragon Quest XI on the Nintendo Switch. Interest from the readers has died down a little for Dragon Quest XI on Switch and this week it’s Project Octopath Travler and Persona Q battling it out.

  1. Persona Q2 (3DS) – 237
  2. Project OCTOPATH TRAVELER (Switch) – 234
  3. Bayonetta 3 (Switch) – 194
  4. Dragon Quest XI: Sugisarishi Toki o Motomete (Switch) – 189
  5. Shin Megami Tensei V (Switch) – 174
  6. Fire Emblem (Switch) – 136
  7. Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Switch) – 134
  8. Hoshi no Kirby: Star Allies (Switch) – 131
  9. Zelda Musou Hyrule Allstars DX (Switch) – below 100
  10. Dragon Quest Builders: Alefgard o Fukkatsu Seyo (Switch) – below 100
  11. Meitantei Pikachu: Shin Combi Tanjou (3DS) – below 100

  1. Project Octopath began to be interesting to japanese people. Though it’s a pretty barebone list, few games down the road. Kirby does not look so healthy (after Dragon Quest Builders? Meh).
