Information has come in from Nintendo France who are currently celebrating the fact that the Nintendo Switch has sold over one million units in the country. This makes the Nintendo Switch the fastest-selling console ever in France. The console managed this in less than a year. The Wii is currently the best-selling console in France with 6.4m units sold. Philippe Lavoué who is the president of Nintendo France has said that he expects the Nintendo Switch to sell over two million units by the end of 2018.

Just wow. Somewhat deserved. Still PlayStation and Playstation 2 maybe had a more varied offering. Still first year had really important software releases, but only by Nintendo. I hope it will become standard enough to attract all the third parties. I’m confident it will attract japanese third parties, not so confintend with western third parties. PlayStation still looks big.
