The Nintendo Switch has been performing magnificently worldwide. We’ve had numbers from various different countries where it’s been breaking records. Nintendo Germany has announced today that Nintendo Switch has sold over 650,000 units and has set a new record for first year sales which was previously held by the Wii back in 2006.

Every time I hear about the Switch’ success, it surprises me. My Switch has been sitting for the most part since I bought it. I mostly just play my PS4. I have to admit, the lack of memory in the Switch (and knowing I have to buy an extra micro SD card for certain games, like Skyrim) is one of the things that turn me away from the Switch. Why don’t the cases for Switch games have an additional slot to store a micro SD card? Another mistake by Nintendo.

No. He wasn’t the only one. My Switch didn’t see much use after I cleared Breath of the Wild.
Then you hate Nintendo games, and if you hate Nintendo games why did you buy a Switch? That’s almost all I play now, I haven’t picked up a PS4 game since Final Fantasy 12 Zodiac Age (I have Dissida, but that was a gift that I haven’t even opened yet.) My PS4 was great for the Wii U era, and I;ll try out God Of War, but for the most part my PS4 just collects dust.

I don’t hate Nintendo, or their games (or the Switch). There just haven’t been any masterpieces like Breath Of The Wild. Open World games are my favorite. I’ll eventually play Skyrim (which I already own). But not until after I finish Assassin’s Creed Origins, and a couple other PS4 games. I’m so backed up on games that I need Mario to come over and unclog the drain. LOL!
