The special physical version of Shantae: Half-Genie Hero will be arriving on the Nintendo Switch in North America on May 8th. The Shantae: Half-Genie Hero Ultimate Day-One Edition costs $39.99 and gives you the Costume Mode, Friends Mode and Pirate Queen’s Quest add-ons. You also get a special 100-page art book and the 30-track Risky Beats soundtrack. The digital edition costs $19.99 on the Nintendo Switch eShop but just includes the base game.

I’ll be sure to pick this up. Too bad my Wii U stopped working right. I had a copy on it because I was a backer of this game.
