April Legendary Pokemon Incoming

The Pokémon Company International today revealed how Trainers can receive Raikou and Entei, the next Pokémon featured in the yearlong celebration of Legendary Pokémon. Beginning April 22, Trainers can visit a participating Target retail location nationwide to receive the Legendary Pokémon Raikou or Entei for their Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon games for the Nintendo 3DS™ family of systems, while supplies last. An exciting new trailer that features exclusive interview footage with developers at GAME FREAK discussing these Legendary Pokémon is available at https://www.youtube.com/embed/omkIB_wAguA?rel=0.

Both powerful Legendary Pokémon originally discovered in the Johto region, Raikou can shoot bolts of lightning from the rain cloud-like mane on its back, and Entei is thought to have been born inside an erupting volcano. Each is a significant addition to any Trainer’s lineup. By visiting participating Target locations, players can receive a card with a secret code that can be redeemed in Pokémon Ultra Sun, Pokémon Ultra Moon, Pokémon Sun, or Pokémon Moon. Players will receive one of these Legendary Pokémon, determined by the game version they have, as well as an extra gift if the game is Pokémon Ultra Sun or Pokémon Ultra Moon. Distribution codes are available for free starting April 22, and will be offered until April 29.

On April 6, the Pokémon TCG: Legends of Johto GX Premium Collection will be available at participating retailers nationwide. This impressive collection includes never-before-seen foil promo cards featuring Raikou-GX and Entei-GX, plus much more.

Boosters featuring Raikou and Entei are also available for in-app purchase in Pokémon Duel, the exciting mobile strategy game in which fans deploy digital Pokémon figures and battle based on strategic moves to reach a goal in the opponent’s territory.
