Many people were wondering which development team was behind Labo when it was first unveiled. It has now been revealed that it’s by the team behind 1-2 Switch and the Miitopia teams. Nintendo has recently published a lengthy interview with the team to discuss all things Labo which launches later this month for Nintendo Switch. You can have a read here. Reset Era member EAD Ninja has detailed the teams involved in the project down below.
- Nintendo EPD Production Group No. 4 (who created 1-2 Switch, Miitopia, Nintendo Badge Arcade, and Rusty’s Real Deal Baseball). is the lead developer.
- Tsubasa Sakaugchi, co-creator of Splatoon, skipped Splatoon 2 to work on this ambitious project.

Makes sense.
Suddenly I’m less confident in the game part of Nintendo Labo.
a
I’m so woried
The worst Nintendo games
AHAHAHAHHAHAHAH
Let me screem AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
ten hours later
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
And people thinked it was Retro Studios the team behind Nintendo Labo…
So the games will be really shallow then.
The amount of dumb bucketheads that thought Retro was behing LABO was dramatic.
||Cattle, what else would they be?…||
I wonder why this team hasn’t a proper name.
DAMN IT!!!
I thought Labo was made by people who DIDN’T want to make another 1-2 Switch type game.
Now I’m getting worried.
Now I’m actually wishing Retro had been involved with this game. xD Well if I did have any interest in this, it’s dead now.
Lol XD Look at the positive side, it means that Retro is continuing making DK games.
