SEGA AGES features more than 15 classic Sega titles, developed by M2, will be released via the Nintendo eShop starting this summer. As for the titles that will be included, all that was said was that it will have “Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force IV, Phantasy Star, and more”.
Sega Ages Has Been Confirmed For Nintendo Switch

In other words Genesis VC games,
Or yet another compilation. This is starting to remind me of the GameCube era, back when we had compilations, instead of Virtual Console games.
If it’s not physical, then it’s basically STILL Virtual Console.
Another compilation from Sega…
Is this the HUGE announcement? Or is this topping on the cake?
Better be toppings
Nope. The huge announcement was Shenmue 1 & 2 HD.
So we get a collection of mega drive games, smaller than the one the other consoles are getting, and not the shenmue remasters. Makes sense
Nah the huge announcement was Shenmue 1 & 2 HD port coming to PS4, X1 and PC.
They should have just released that HUGE collection they spoke of before only for Switch.. ticks me off.
I’m excited for this because the Switch is severely lacking in turn based games In interested in playing so I’m definitely getting Phantasy Star online :) I wish we’d get the Shenmue ports tho…. I wanna look for those sailors on the go…
Kinda sad that we won’t be getting Shenmue 1&2, but – then again – the Dreamcast still looks awesome on an HDTV with the Hanzo Box: https://youtu.be/u4Hld3ewARk
Why not just give us some new IPs and a new Virtua On?
I was never interested in any of Sega’s 16 bit era franchises.
