It might not seem that long ago that FIFA launched on the Nintendo Switch but developer EA is currently working on the latest version of the game, FIFA 19. The latest instalment in the annual franchise will apparently include the UEFA Champions League and the Europa League. It is bound to be showcased at EA’s E3 event next month in Los Angeles.

What does that mean?
Probably a tournament style mode.
If you don’t follow the sport: The Champions League is a european continental club tournament taking place each season alongside the regular national compatitions. Qualified are the best clubs of last season from every national league.
Similar, the Europa League works pretty much the same, only that there are, so to say, the next best teams qualified.
Example: Depending on how strong the national league is internationaly, it could be that the best 3 teams are qualified for next years Champions League, while the teams ranking 4-5 are qualified for next years Europa League.
Especially the Champions League is one of the most important and strongest tournaments in europe, since it is a competition of the continents best teams after all.
Now what this news means: The FIFA games, for some reason, didn’t have the licensing rights for these two tournaments (Even though pretty much they always had pretty much every license you could imagine; Problem probably was PES having the Champions League license instead of FIFA). Both tournaments were still present in the games career mode, but under different names. So I would be guessing, they simply have those two tournaments with their actual real names this time.
And maybe a tournament mode were you just play this or something, I don’t know.
lol but still doesnt suport SUPERIOR SWITCH CONTROLS AND ALLOW VASTLY SUPERIOR TEAM PLAY like pes wii
i dont want ps1 soccer on my switch i want SWITCH SOCCER
Has it even been confirmed for Switch yet?
