Japan: Resident Evil 7 Cloud Version Is Now Available In The Switch eShop

The Japanese Nintendo Switch eShop has a brand new game added. You can now get Resident Evil 7 Cloud Version there. As we said previously, this version of the game runs on the cloud, meaning that you will need a stable internet connection to play. The game can be played for free for up to 15 minutes. Once the time is up, you will need to buy a 2,000 yen 180-day play session.

  1. I truly hope this fails miserably.
But I do hope as many people as possible take advantage of that 15 minutes.

  3. I hate this idea beyond measure. Why would I want to stream a game from another country and on top rent it out? This is gonna fail big time. I hope they realise this soon enough and actually spend some time creating ports for the switch directly rather than experimenting with stupid ideas.

    1. Sadly, when this endeavor falls flat on its ass, they do not try to learn from their mistakes, they will just abandon all together.

  4. wait so switch is powerful enough to run RE7? Can’t you just release it through eshop? Or phsyical release..what is this nonsense capcom. Why do you do this crap, just be a normal developer for once
