Japan: Here’s the best-selling video games of April 2018

Japanese gaming publication Famitsu has published the best-selling video games for the month of April and it makes for an interested read. Despite the Nintendo Switch’s dominance in the hardware charts it’s two PlayStation 4 titles which sit happily at number one and number two. Those games are Far Cry 5 and Jikkyou Powerful Pro Baseball. There are four Nintendo Switch games in the top ten for April 2018.

    1. Splatoon is very popular and it’s considered as one of the best TPS because for the unique gameplay it gives.

      1. I didn’t mean that I didn’t understand it, because I love Splatoon. It’s just surprising to see a relatively new IP crush Mario and Zelda on their home system.

      2. The multiplayer of Splatoon is so fun that makes you want to play the game more time than BotW and Odyssey, also those two games are only single player while Splatoon is both single and multiplayer

  1. Oh nice. It’s got the total, then physical, & finally digital sales. Now if only the UK & NOA could start doing the bloody same. In any case, physical is still king in Japan.
