A Lone Engineer Got Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy On Nintendo Switch Up And Running

One of the interesting things that has emerged out of this year’s E3 event is that one single engineer managed to get the soon to be released Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy up and running on the Nintendo Switch. Yes, you read that right, just one engineer. Once the engineer got the game up and running the team then decided that work could commence on the full version of the game which is due to be released on 29th June.

  1. That’s just shocking…. and developers who whine about how the system isn’t easy to develop for yet ONE MAN managed to get the game up and running pretty quickly, leaves no more excuses left. So devs either have to say “No, we’re not developing for the Switch because we’re not interested” or “We are interested in working for the Switch, but we could use more time to polish the game up”

So A Hat in Time devs really need to step up their game now because one person got their game up and running fairly quickly

    1. Yes one guy got Crash running on the switch. That is really impressive, but many games is different. The only reason we are getting wolfenstein 2 on the switch is because it uses the same engine as Doom. Crash is based on the old playstation games, it’s not a title that its graphics are really demanding

  2. Do these developers not really like to try something new? Or are they lazy? Technology is ever changing. Sometimes you’ve got to try new things and learn new software. It kind of comes with the job.

      1. yeah, you are right. All im saying is that EA it´s a Monster with enough resourses to port most of their games, after all, the NVIDIA processor in the Switch is made based on the more powerful ones on the PC. still, you are right.

  3. To be fair, the entire multiplier mode for Goldeneye was made by one employee over the weekend, wasn’t even a planned feature initially.

  4. GAMECUBE AND Wii WERE EASY TO CODE SO WAS WIIU peoe were converting android games to wiiu in a day or even instantly as in a feww minutes or a hour also it only took a day to a few days to et ful ps2 games runig on gamecube same with xbox games cpl of hours presto running

THE THIRD PARTY INDUSTRY TROLED YOU HARD all those games that didnt not only come to gamecube btu would have had twice plus the graphics of ps2 and twice the framerate

there was a e3 were wiiu was running indie games android games etc after going thru a dev machine and instantly running on wiiu minutes later THEY DEMOED IT

THE INTERNET IS FULL OF LYING LOW IQ IDIOTS AND THE INDUSTRY KEEPS LYING TO YOU
