Pokemon the Movie: Everyone’s Story has now premiered in Japan. According to Twitter user DogasusBackpack, the movie’s ending included an announcement of the next Pokemon movie. Pokemon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution is coming in 2019. The original voice of Mewtwo, Masachika Ichimura, will be returning for this movie. The movie’s logo is similar to the first one. The logo can be seen down below.
So, what? They’re just remaking all the Pokemon movies now? Set in the I Choose You Universe, then?
I guess judging on the success of Dragon Ball Super: Broly. (I know it hasn’t come out yet? But it’s doing something with the help of Toriyama adding Broly to canon) Pokemon is probably doing the same as well but set in the I choice you universe. Let’s just hope they refixed the first movie to make it better than the original. Also, 2019 would be the anniversary of the first film. So? yeah…

Is the Alola cast not fit to be in a Pokemon movie?
