Ever since the Switch launched in Japan, Nintendo has been having to keep up with the massive demand with the console and its games. Octopath Traveler has been in short supply for a few days now, and it isn’t alone. Japanese Twitter users are reporting that Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is sold out in multiple places, including Tsutaya and “other video game retailers”, and “almost all Yodobashi locations in Japan have sold out and are accepting back-orders”.
Japan: Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker Is In Short Supply

Dang that’s pretty good
So Sequel? I mean I loved captain toad and dont know if I’d buy it again. Luckily I was able to rent it for gamers day at family video for free. I loved the new levels! But only 4? Like that’s great and all but not a whole lot of extra content to suggest another buy of it.
Renting a game? In 2018? Woah, I didn’t know they did that these days. Kind of brings me back to the 90’s.
Yeah they quite a selection, often sell games, and is usually packed with customers checking out the movies there. I wouldn’t say it’s a popular chain. But they’re mainly based in the midwest of the US
Least that’s what I could find while on their webpage* there could be more locations(?)
Nintendo is so good, they even don’t know what to do with themselves.
