Drinkbox Studios and Pop Agenda have announced on Twitter that the excellent Guacamelee! Super Turbo Championship Edition is now available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The company also said that the sequel Guacamelee! 2 will be available for Nintendo Switch owners in December. Check out the trailer down below!

Nice! I’ve been waiting for a Switch version to get Guacamelee 2. I’ve bought the original twice (original and STCE), but I’m willing to buy it one last time for Switch just because of how good it is.
I wasn’t really into indie games besides Shovel Knight in the Wii U era so I skipped Guacamelee,but the Switch really got me into indies and I’ve been wanting a Switch version for both games for a long time,I’m definitly getting both
there are quite a few of that kind of quality and depth. Guacamelee is great and if you need your metroidvania-fix after finishing this, be sure to check out Steamworld DIG2, Teslagrad and Hollow Knight. They’re all amazing and beautifullly crafted games, every each of em with their unique charm.
The first one was really good! Though I never finished it. I can see myself getting it on the Switch eventually. Definitely want the second one as well.
also never finished the game, but really just because I was too bad to beat the final boss :(
