Europe: Amazon Seems To Be Sold Out Of Joy-Cons

Those of you who shop on Amazon may have noticed that the online retailer is having trouble with stock of Joy-Cons. The retailer is basically sold out in most countries prompting some to wonder what the reasoning is. It could have something to do with Super Mario Party which just launched and consumers wanting to purchase additional controllers to enable them to play with friends and family, or alternatively it could be an issue between Amazon and Nintendo. Hopefully stock issues are resolved soon.

  1. I think this is due to this issue with Nintendo not being happy with Amazon undercutting the price of the Switch.

  2. Probably because Nintendo have to recall them for replacements for all those customers who bought a defect joy-con. I, my brother and plenty of friends have had to open RMA-cases because of the blue/left joy con.
