A Blizzard representative recently teased that cross-platform play will eventually be supported in Diablo III. However, another rep is now saying the publisher doesn’t have any plans to implement the highly sought-after feature. The following statement is from the second Blizzard spokesperson on behalf of the entire company:
โWhile we love the idea of bringing our players together across platforms, we do not have any plans to implement cross-platform gameplay for Diablo at this time.โ
Either its Sony that has a say if they wanna play nice with others or they don’t wanna put any effort into trying to get all systems up to date with the same code.
Or the first guy wasn’t supposed to say they were working on it and the second guy is trying to keep any hype for the feature from forming in case they can’t (or won’t) do cross-play.
We have no plans “at this time” is exactly what they said about the Nintendo Switch port lol

Is there a problem? People do articles about this why they can’t write an article about it?
